SORPAS has been developed by SWANTCH in Denmark, who are the pioneers in this field. SORPAS is a fully independent finite element (FEM) program for simulation of resistance welding processes for industrial application. Using the software engineers can seat in front of their own PC's during development of new products or optimization of production instead of making expensive and time-consuming experiments on the welding machines.
