As a part of corporate social responsibility, Technocraft has promoted an
Institute of Higher Education in the name of SSN Institute of Technology
(SSNIT). SSNIT offers Diploma Course in
Mechatronics and
Tool & Die Design Engineering initially and further courses will be
added in due course. SSNIT is located on a lush 9 acres landscaped site in
Murbad, Dist. Thane, about 90 km from Mumbai,Maharashtra,India.

Shanti Seva Nidhi, a trust run by Technocraft Industries promoters, tied up with
Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) to bring the esteemed institute in
Maharashtra for the first time. NTTF is the living symbol of Indo-Swiss
co-operation aimed at promoting a purposeful technical education for the youth
in India.

New buildings are being built in a 9 acres plot at Pasheni Village near Murbad,
Maharashtra. An institute building with Basement, ground and plus 2 floors is
coming up with approximately 48,000 sq. feet area to conduct the planned Diploma
courses.
A Hostel Block is also taken up with Basement, Ground plus 2 floors to
accommodate 100 trainees along with mess and recreation facilities. This has
approximately 32,000 sq ft. area. Two more Hostel blocks will be added in the
next 2 years as new students join.

Diploma in Mechatronics:

Mechatronics is a word originated in Japan in 1980s to denote the combination of
technologies which go together to produce industrial robots. A formal definition
of Mechatronics is "the synergistic integration of Mechanics and Mechanical
Engineering, Electronics, Computer technology, and Information Technology to
produce or enhance products and systems."
This course gives the industries the engineers who can build automations,
robotics, etc. This course is the need of the hour for Indian Industry to be
competitive in the global village.

Diploma in Tool and Die Making:

|
Tool & Die Making is part of Mechanical Engineering specializing in Press-tools,
Plastic Moulds, Aluminum Die Casting Dies and Jigs & Fixtures in design and
manufacturing. There are very few institutes offering training in this field in
India.
The course is recognised by Department of Education, Government of India,
Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka, Department of Industrial
Relations, Central office – Canberra, Institution of Engineers (India) for
admission to B level AMIE courses.
